Crops - Cucumbers

• Our cucumbers are grown for Hartung Brothers Inc. and eventually end up in a jar at the grocery store.
• The cucumbers have to be pollinated by honey bees.
• Cultivating is necessary to grow cucumbers, because of weed pressure.
• Two crops of cucumbers are grown in one season on the same field.
